    Students of Italian fashion school Accademia Costume & Moda showed their final projects during the first edition of the Master in Fabrics
    Innovation Design. 15 textile collections were created and designed by the students themself and inspired by the traditions of their country of origin and oriented to a new masculine elegance.
    Students have been involved in five industry projects developed with numerous manufacturing companies of Made in Italy like Ratti, Lanificio di

  • Fashion for Good launches the Renewable Carbon Textiles Project

    Sustainable fashion initiative Fashion for Good has launched a project to accelerate the development of Polyhydroxyalkanoates or PHA polymer fibres, a biosynthetic alternative to fossil-based fibres.
    The production of virgin fossil-based polyester fibres contributes to an increase in greenhouse gas emissions. Biosynthetics made from renewable sources such as agricultural byproducts could be a solution.
