Visvim's Foley-Folk Sneakers Come Equipped With Replaceable Outsoles

Having started his Japanese brand visvim with footwear, Hiroki Nakamura creates the traditionally disposable sneaker into something that can be worn and enjoyed for many years. Using the Goodyear welt construction , which is how he's always been making his footwear, Nakamura hand sews the cup sole of a tennis shoe to the upper for breathability. Bonding the entire product by minimal adhesive agent and hand-stitching, the sneaker allows the entire sole to be replaced. Cork is also used to create a custom molded footbed for excellent comfort.
